Teachers and Education

	Fantage is not only a place for fun, but a place where teachers and students can experience educational content. The new Fantage School includes classrooms where students can play educational math, English, geography, and strategy games; a music room, where students can walk on instruments to play music; and a gymnasium, where students can play “Off the Hook” – a true or false quiz game. Players can create or join a private classroom and invite friends, parents, and teachers for an interactive virtual learning experience. Among the various activities in the private classrooms, players have the option to print certificates after completing each game that state their score.

	In order to enrich the content of our site and promote learning, we’ve added many educational games to our Fantage School! Let us tell you about some of the educational games our site offers! Check out our math and logic games! Math Links: Combine quick addition with superb aiming to clear all the levels. Mad Math: Solve operational problems in addition, subtraction, and more to clear the levels. Stained Glass: Enhance logic and thinking skills in this puzzle solving game. Want to learn about geography and language arts? Where in the World?: This geography game will test your knowledge of countries in 9 different regions of the world! Are you up for the challenge? Word Up: Enhance your vocabulary by unscrambling the letters to form words. Your only hints are the definitions! How many words can you make? We have even more educational games upstairs! Off the Hook: Up for a tough quiz? See how Fantage does quizzes! Answer questions in various categories quickly to score points. King Me!: Fantage has brought Checkers for you to challenge the computer or other players! Checkmate: For those needing a different challenge, come try your hand in Chess.

Fantage School Challenge

	Fantage has invited a fifth-grade class to participate in the first Fantage School Challenge. Utilizing Fantage’s unique in-world virtual classrooms, which offer a place for teachers to connect with their students in a safe and fun online setting, the School Challenge tests comprehension in math and language skills through engaging mini-games. The fifth-grade class – split into two teams – competed in math and language games for prizes. “It’s important to offer varied activities to keep the kids interested in learning, and the Fantage School games delivered,” said Veronica Castillo, fifth grade teacher, Christ the King School. “Everyone in the classroom was excited to participate, and the School Challenge provided extra motivation for my students to focus on important subjects like math and reading.” Multiple competitions will be held throughout 2012.
